What the heck people? Hot and ready only refers to the original glazed and only if you specifically order the hot and ready ones when the light is on! (Some people don't like the hot sticky melt in your mouth hot ones so the workers don't assume you want them hot if you don't order then that way!). Service can be a little slow if the person in front of you just ordered a large order but is well worth it. I recommend trying all the different donuts (not in one sitting) and finding the ones you love and ordering those. I certainly don't like some of them but I love, love, love certain ones and I drive past two dunkin donuts to get here! Everyone's tastes are different.

Mmm..... There is nothing better than a hot,fresh, glazed doughnut from Krispy Kreme. The problem with this store though is you can't get much decaffeinated coffee here. I went in asking for a decaf iced coffee one night and was told that they can't do that. OK,how about a latte decaffeinated, nope we can't do that either. Only product that we can give you is a Decaffeinated regular coffee. Kind of strange from a place that sells coffee and donuts. But, gotta love those hot glazed donuts.

Hot doughnuts. Who is doing it? Is Dunkin doing it? No. They make theirs at a factory and ship the stale hunks of dried out breading to their stores. Then they sell it to you as fresh when at best they are day old. Bakeries use to throw out or donate day old bread. Now your eating it. Yum. How about your local doughnut shop. They usually only make one batch per day of each of their doughnuts. And guess when they make them? You guessed it. The night before so your doughnuts are probably 12 hours old and stale. Better than Dunkin but then again so is pretty much everything. Krispy Kreme makes their doughnuts fresh, on site, and on demand so you always get the fresh hot doughnuts that Krispy Kreme is famous for. And that makes all the difference to me. Add to that a staff that has always been friendly and courteous and you have a winning recipe. Now if only they could get rid of the calories.

Finally a Krispy Kreme in St. Pete! I'm kind of thrilled and trying to forget that it exists at the same time....my waistline does not need a Krispy Kreme this close. Anyways, we visited around 7am on the 2nd week they were open. There was a line inside, but it moved quickly. I found out why when it was our turn. The employees were very pushy and wanted your order NOW. My problem was that I couldn't really see the display case until it was my turn. I quickly just ordered the two pumpkin donuts. My Husband picked up a few original glazed. The cheesecake pumpkin donut was really good, the other pumpkin donut...not so much. I took a few bites and tossed it. My Husband devoured his donuts but said that they weren't as good as he remembered. We will be back again to kill our sugar fix, but I am not convinced that Krispy Kreme is the best anymore. We shall see. I will update my review after a few more visits.

I was super excited about a Krispy Kreme opening up in St. Pete. Even had a convo with friends a few weeks ago wondering why there were multiple locations in Tampa but none in St Pete then voila! One magically appeared on 4th st. So today I took my inner fat girl for a ride and went thru the drive thru. My overall experience was found lacking. I ordered a half dozen assorted and they got two of the doughnuts wrong. And they were NOT Hot and Ready, but instead tasted like they'd been sitting out all day. The doughnuts I've gotten from gas stations tasted fresher than what I got today. Probably won't ever go back to this location and now my inner fat girl is sad about the non-exciting calories she just consumed :(

Not really a fan. They had their fresh baked donuts sign on and the donuts tasted like the old ones you buy from Walmart that sit on the shelves for days. Gave this place two tries because they were new, both visits were disappointing. The drive through guy gave us the wrong donuts each time we visited so we had to circle around and wait in line again too which was inconvenient as well. Thumbs down!

Lady at the window was very mean and angry. Donuts unfortunately were cold despite the HOT NOW sign being lit up. The location on W Kennedy is way better as far as service and freshness. Don't go here.

I was so happy that a new Krispy Kreme opened up not too far from where I live. But, when I got there I was disappointed. The hot and fresh glazed doughnuts were not made there. They had premade doughnuts that they just put though an icing machine. They don't taste nearly as good as the ones that are made fresh in the store. The service was very slow too. It seemed like there were only two people working, while the rest of the employes just stood there. I waited in line for 25 minutes. Even though they are still better than Dunkin Donuts, I was not happy. I will give this location one more chance though because I love Krispy Kreme fresh donuts.

the doughnuts are ok not really fresh and hot a microwave does the same thing but worst of all is the wait I have been there three times in the morning and the employees seem to be getting slower and service worse each time. Dunkin is right down the street hooefully they turn it around.

Grand opening was very busy today, but service was efficient & friendly! We were in and out fairly quickly for a line that wrapped around to the door. Beautiful, clean environment with smiling faces! The doughnuts are hot and delicious as promised! We ordered mostly glazed, a mix of Kreme filled goodness & sour cream! Always on point!! Great job! Yummy HOT & Delicious doughnuts! Welcome to St. Pete!!
